About this tour
You will be conveniently picked up just outside the security gate of your hotel, ready to embark on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Turkey’s Taurus Mountains. Our adventure continues with a visit to the ancient city of Selge, where the well-preserved ruins of the gymnasium, stoa, stadium, and basilica provide a fascinating glimpse into the past. We’ll also explore Adam Kayalar, a remarkable rock formation known to locals that resembles the landscapes of Cappadocia, perfect for capturing memorable photos and enjoying a leisurely walk.
This trip is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a perfect blend of nature, history, and adventure. To complete the experience, we will stop for a lunch break at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy a buffet of cold starters, fresh salads, and a choice of barbecued fish or chicken, ensuring a satisfying and flavorful meal amidst this scenic journey.
Itinerary
- Short briefing and gear up the equipment at meeting point.
- Arriving to Tazı Canyon (25 km long- 45 minutes distance from the meeting point)
- 30 minutes free time at Tazı Canyon for taking pictures etc.
- Going back to the restaurant for lunch
- Arriving to Selge Ancient City. 30 minutes break for taking pictures etc.
- Walking to Adam Kayalar. 25 minutes free time.
- Going back to the restaurant for returning back to the hotels.
